Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 August 2026.

This policy explains how Qode LTD ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data on qodeltd.com. Qode LTD is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17259547), with its registered office at Liberty House, 30 Whitchurch Lane, Edgware, HA8 6LE. For the data described here, Qode LTD is the data controller. Questions or requests: contact@qodeltd.com.

qodeltd.com is a marketing site. We do not run user accounts, show ads, sell or rent personal data, or profile you. The only optional, non-essential processing is Google Analytics, which runs solely on your consent and stays off unless you turn it on.

1. What we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you use a contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic, and your message (and, for publishing enquiries, that you selected the publishing form). We use this to read and reply to your enquiry. A hidden anti-spam field is checked and discarded; it is never stored.
  • Technical data. When you submit a form, your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit submissions and prevent abuse. It is held only briefly in memory for that purpose and appears in short-lived infrastructure logs at our hosting provider; we do not build a profile from it.
  • Analytics data (only with your consent). If you opt in to analytics in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, which pages are visited and how visitors move through them. It is off unless you opt in and is never used for advertising. We ask Google to record the page address without its query string. See the Cookie Policy for the cookies involved.

2. How we use your data

PurposeLegal basis (UK/EU GDPR)
Reading and replying to enquiries you send usLegitimate interests; steps prior to a contract
Security, spam prevention, and rate limitingLegitimate interests
Understanding how the site is used (Google Analytics)Consent

You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time from Cookie settings in the footer, which is as easy as giving it.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of providers (processors) to run the site and handle your enquiries. Each acts on our instructions:

ProviderWhat they doLocation
VercelWebsite hosting and delivery (global edge network)Global (edge caching)
ResendDelivers contact-form emails to usPer Resend's own policies
Google (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC)Website analytics, only if you opt in (Google Analytics 4)EU / US (SCCs, EU-US Data Privacy Framework)

Where a provider processes data outside the UK/EEA (such as Vercel's edge network, or Google Analytics when you opt in), transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as the UK Addendum, Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not otherwise disclose your data, except where required by law.

4. Retention

We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then delete or archive them. Rate-limiting data is transient and is not retained beyond the short window needed to prevent abuse. Analytics data is retained by Google according to our configured retention settings.

5. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact contact@qodeltd.com and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local EU supervisory authority.

6. Changes and contact

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. Qode LTD, company number 17259547, registered office Liberty House, 30 Whitchurch Lane, Edgware, HA8 6LE. Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration ZC195893. Email contact@qodeltd.com. See also our Cookie Policy.
